Ilaria Marcolin (teacher and choreographer assistant, CSC)

Ilaria Marcolin is an Italian dancer (1995, Bassano del Grappa). She completed her education in Rome, from 2015 to 2018, at the the 3-Years Professional Course of Contemporary Dance of Balletto di Roma, where she studied with artists who are currently active on the national and international contemporary scene.
Since 2011 she has collaborated with Operaestate Festival Veneto and CSC Centro per la Scena Contemporanea in Bassano del Grappa (VI, Italy). She participated as a performer in site-specific performances and in the co-creation of choreographic itineraries in the museum for the European projects Performing Gender - Dance makes differences, Migrant Bodies - Moving Borders, Dancing Museums. She has worked with several choreographers, including Sharon Fridman, Iván Peréz, Pablo Tapia Leyton, Francesca Pennini, Davide Valrosso, Pietro Marullo, Andrea Rampazzo, Masako Matsushita, Beatrice Bresolin, Yasmeen Godder, Nora Chipaumire, Mélanie Demers. In March 2022 she is co-founder of the Cultural Association Base 9, which gathers a group of Italian dance artists supported by the CSC Centro per la Scena Contemporanea of Bassano del Grappa (Italy).
Since 2020 she has led workshops for young dancers and dancers from Bassano and Vicenza. In 2021 she became a Dance Well teacher, and she's since then also supported international choreographers in their creations for the local Dance Well dancers in Bassano del Grappa.
