Musician, electro performer, and sound engineer, Stéphane Monteiro a.k.a XtroniK builds a dense electronic oscillating between electronica and digital textures. Noisy percussions and whistling bleep jostle in a universe where fragmentation and defragmentation combine skilfully to create industrial atmospheres punctuated with digital melodies. For the live show, He approaches the sound dimension not to illustrate the purpose of the piece, but to accompany it, by creating patterns superimposed on it: by opening a counterpoint. Starting from acoustic or electronic sounds, sampling, temporal effects, distortions, filters, drones or signal generators, XtroniK creates atmospheres, textures and melodic or noisy titles.
