ORLANDO is an international queer festival of cinema, dance, theater, aimed at a diverse audience. It brings valuable artistic experiences to Bergamo and transforms the city into a meeting place in which to overcome the frontiers of stereotypes and broaden the horizon of possibilities. The Festival was born from the Cultural Association "Immaginare Orlando" which, through an open and inclusive approach, aims to promote freedom with respect to the themes of identity, relationships and different representations of the body.
The Festival welcomes and organises DANCE WELL in Bergamo since 2021, with the Museum Pinacoteca Accademia Carrara, in collaboration with FDE Festival Danza Estate, Museo delle Storie di Bergamo, Municipality of Bergamo and with the support of Fondazione della Comunità Bergamasca.
