Initiated by the School of Dance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the Jockey Club Dance Well Project modelled after the Dance Well initiative in Italy and invites Hong Kong dance artists for collaborations to lead dance practice experiences in artistic spaces for those with Parkinson’s disease and people of different ages and abilities. The three-year project comprises train-the-trainer programme, community dance workshops, presentations, and an impact study to provide sustainable development of dance in the community in Hong Kong.
