The Teatro Stabile dell'Umbria is the permanent public theater of the Umbria Region. Since 2015 it has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture as a Theater of Relevant Cultural Interest, and it mainly deals with productions and creation. In almost forty years, the TSU has built and spread the culture of live performing arts on a regional level, by networking with the numerous historic theaters, enhancing their socio-cultural function and establishing a unique reality of its kind. From the creation to the diffusion of the most significant national and international artistic experiences, the TSU carries out its activity in 17 cities of the region, and promotes dialogue between artists and the different realities of the international contemporary scene.
