Villa Parco Bolasco includes a villa and its historic garden dating back to the mid-nineteenth century. The project is by Giambattista Meduna, who reorganized the area where the 17th century "Paradise" owned by the Corner family once stood. A romantic garden, populated by more than a thousand trees, an elegant villa, a lake and two small islands surrounded by the waters of the Avenale: over eight hectares of greenery and water, in the heart of Castelfranco Veneto (TV). The complex was donated to the University of Padua which, after the restoration, reopened it to the public in 2017, making it a place for the dissemination of art, beauty and culture, faithful to the institutional role of the University which in 2022 celebrated its 800th anniversary.
Dance Well in Castelfranco is promoted by Villa Parco Bolasco, the University of Padua and UniPadova Sostenibile, together with the CSC of Bassano del Grappa, in collaboration with the Municipality of Castelfranco Veneto, ULSS 2 Marca Trevigiana and VARCITIES. The CSC of Bassano del Grappa coordinates the activities with the teachers already leading classes in other cities of the region.
