For over 40 years AMAT has been operating in the Marche region, in collaboration with Municipalities, the Region and other organisations, which have joined the network because they "consider theatrical activities a cultural asset of significant social interest" to promote their development and dissemination. Recognized by the Ministry of Culture as a multidisciplinary circuit, AMAT organizes and promotes the Marche region's theatre, dance, music and contemporary circus programmes. It creates special projects to develop moments of aggregation and support the well-being of the community.
The Municipality of Recanati has developed the Xsianixnoi social proximity project with AMAT, active since 2009, which every year involves citizens of all ages.
Since 2019 the Municipality of Recanati has developed the network for Cultural Welfare in the Marche, of which AMAT is a partner.
