Moving Communities is a programme of weekly Contemporary Dance Classes for people living with Parkinson's and research-based initiatives promoted by the Yasmeen Godder Company in Israel.
The Contemporary Dance Classes began in February 2015, as part of the “Störung/הפרעה” Project. Initiated by Theatre Freiburg, Germany, this unique interdisciplinary collaborative project brought together professional dancers and choreographers with scientists and physicians – along with people with Parkinson’s from Israel and Germany – to explore different aspects of human movement and movement disorder.

Moving Communities is led by a dedicated steering committee, with the understanding that the dance classes for people dealing with Parkinson's disease, at Yasmeen Godder Studio, is a social and communal project, grounded in the vision and interest of a diverse group of people.
